Working With AT&T

Some of the largest companies in the world are headquartered here in Dallas, Texas, which means Kangaroo Cases gets to work with big clients regularly. One of our larger projects to date was for AT&T, a global telecommunications company.

Our mission — and we eagerly chose to accept it — was to update the fleet of cases they use at their downtown headquarters to store and protect testing gear for internal projects.

AT&T chose us for our ability to make truly custom cases based on their specific needs. It also didn’t hurt that we’re located right down the street from their headquarters.

Overcoming Challenges With the Right Process

Our larger customers often place high-volume orders ranging from 50 to 100+ cases, so we were prepared for the AT&T project’s scope.

In this case (is that pun getting old yet?), the biggest challenge was the variety of cases they needed. To ensure every asset was protected in the best way possible, we had to design and build each case according to exact specifications.

AT&T had two priorities for their cases: high-level protection and ease of use. With these in mind, we worked closely with company technicians to design cases for each unique piece of equipment. While some required completely custom builds, others were the prefect size to use some of our standard cases with customized interiors.

After a smooth build process, we delivered the exact cases AT&T needed. As a local company, we could even coordinate a pickup with the AT&T team, saving them freight shipping costs.

How It All Came Together

The cases for AT&T turned out beautifully. Like many of our larger customers, AT&T opted for a custom color instead of the standard black laminate. This helps the cases stand out when they’re in use in the field.

At the same time, to avoid standing out too much and risking theft, they decided not to use logos on the cases.

The AT&T team was pleased with the results. In particular, they thanked us for creating cases that are unmatched in quality, functionality, and look.

We still work with AT&T to create outstanding cases that protect like a mother. We love navigating challenges to make the best cases for our customers — and we look forward to more projects like this in the future.
